Broadband Mapping in the Motherlode ATCAA Central Sierra Connect (CSC) is a collective of influential local leaders, including members from the Boards of Supervisors in three counties, business owners, Internet service providers, and community members working toward widespread broadband internet access and a high level of digital literacy in the Sierra Foothills.

The vision of Central Sierra Connect is to bridge the digital divide by bringing broadband to the people and the people to broadband.

The mission of Central Sierra Connect is to support the region’s residents, businesses, visitors and organizations through the promotion, coordination and enhancement of e-technology: broadband access/adoption and technology education.

The CSC needs your help with mapping broadband in our region (Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Mariposa and Tuolumne counties). On the CSC website you can put in your address (for home and/or business), take a speed–test to see how fast your service is and, after pinning your location on the map, tell them who your provider is, how much your service costs, and any comments you have about your service.
